Aimi Unveils First Half Album "A/CODE," Announces Fall Tour

Japanese artist Aimi is set to release her first "half album," titled "A/CODE," on August 20th. This exciting announcement comes with the reveal of new cover art and an updated artist photo, building anticipation for what promises to be a significant release.

The title "A/CODE" is a clever play on Aimi's initials, combining "A" – symbolizing a new beginning – with "CODE," representing her music and message. The album is designed to deliver a new "Aimi Code," promising a heavier and more impactful sound than her previous work. It features six brand-new tracks, including the lead song "Athis Code," all penned by Aimi herself.

"A/CODE" will be available in two formats: a limited first edition and a regular edition. The limited edition includes a Blu-ray disc featuring the music video for "AthisCode" and its behind-the-scenes footage. It also contains a performance from her 2024 "LIVE IT NOW" tour at Tokyo Toyosu PIT, offering a unique look at her live presence since resuming her artistic career. This content is exclusive to the limited edition, making it a must-have for fans.

Adding to the excitement, Aimi has also announced a new standing live tour, "AIMI LIVE TOUR 2025 'NEW WORLD'," in support of "A/CODE." The tour kicks off on November 1st at YOKOHAMA Bay Hall in Kanagawa, followed by dates in Osaka and Aichi.

Tickets for the "NEW WORLD" tour can be secured through an advance lottery system. Fans who purchase the first production of "A/CODE" will receive a serial code for early ticket access. Additionally, a ticket lottery advance is currently running for members of Aimi's official fan community, "OKOMAISON," until July 6th. The general lottery using the album's serial code will be available from August 19th to September 7th.

This new album and tour mark a pivotal moment for Aimi, promising a deeper exploration of her artistry and an immersive live experience for her growing fanbase.
