The Sound of the Season: Pentatonix’s "Christmas in the City" Delivers Vocal Spectacle in Indianapolis
Credit : Josh Boles
The holiday season arrived early and with an acoustically dense impact in Indianapolis. Pentatonix brought their "Christmas in the City" tour to a packed Gainbridge Fieldhouse this evening, Sunday, November 30th, delivering a dazzling, tightly orchestrated holiday spectacle. The a cappella titans showcased their trademark vocal dexterity across a sprawling setlist that spanned traditional carols, modern pop hits, and their signature inventive covers. The performance, which included interactive games determining stylistic arrangements of classics like "Jingle Bells" and a show-stopping encore of "Hallelujah," proved that complex vocal arrangements remain the purest form of holiday maximalism.
